UAE Leaders Congratulate Pakistan on National Day

 


The leadership of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Government and people of Pakistan on the occasion of Pakistan Day. In their separate messages, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister and President of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed their best wishes to President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. 


This gesture highlights the strong and enduring friendship between the UAE and Pakistan. The two nations have a history of close ties, marked by mutual respect and cooperation in various fields. The UAE has consistently supported Pakistan in its development endeavors, and both countries have collaborated on numerous projects over the years.


In recent times, the UAE has shown a keen interest in enhancing economic collaboration with Pakistan. For instance, in January 2025, UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed interest in partnering with Pakistan in the mining, minerals, and agriculture sectors. During a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, both leaders discussed ways to deepen economic, political, and cultural ties, emphasizing the importance of shared prosperity.
