UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure Streamlines Services Through Bureaucracy Reduction

The UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has embarked on initiatives to simplify procedures and improve customer experiences when accessing various services. It announced eliminating bureaucratic red tape from 21 different processes to make things more efficient for the public. Over 745,000 government procedures were cancelled as a result.   


This translated to enormous savings of 21 million hours previously spent by residents and businesses dealing with paperwork and approvals. Ministry visits dropped by 75% after digitizing most transactions online. Customers also reported a 91% increase in satisfaction due to the revamped, hassle-free system. 


Streamlining operations in this manner supports the country's overall aim of improving livability and competitiveness as an investment destination. With bureaucracy reduced, the private sector can pursue opportunities more productively without wasted time or resources. Residents enjoy higher convenience accessing important services related to infrastructure and utilities.

Strengthening China UAE Ties through Joint Cooperation on the Belt and Road Initiative

China and the United Arab Emirates want to strengthen their cooperation on China's Belt and Road Initiative BRI. The BRI aims to improve connectivity and cooperation between Eurasian countries.
