UAE Continues to Lead in Middle East Sustainability

The list features many familiar UAE brands First Abu Dhabi Bank topped banking for facilitating billions in sustainable projects Masdar led the environmental sector due to its renewable ventures worldwide TAQA and EWEC advanced utilities and clean power goals NEOM exemplified real estate's sustainable vision e& and Emirates displayed leadership in telecoms and aviation respectively Such results show how UAE champions have integrated ESG into diverse operations.


Saudi firms also shone led by Aramco in oil and gas and the PIF's renewable investments New joint ventures will localize 70% of the kingdom's renewables Like the UAE Saudi recognizes sustainability importance to long term economic growth and climate resilience The private sector is responding enthusiastically to green directives from Vision 2030.


Financial institutions region wide have significantly grown sustainable finance offerings QNB enabled Qatar debut green bond while banks in Dubai and Bahrain facilitated billions in eco projects This vital area allows companies to access funds for transitioning operations.
