Strengthening Regional Cooperation

HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE recently travelled to Kuwait for an official visit. 


In Kuwait Sheikh Hamdan was welcomed by high ranking officials including Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al Sabah the First Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister. 


The goal of Sheikh Hamdan visit was to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the UAE and Kuwait. The two countries share deep rooted ties.


Discussions focused on exploring new strategic partnerships for sustainable development Sheikh Hamdan emphasised the growing relationship between the Gulf allies.


During meetings with Kuwaiti leaders opportunities were examined to further strengthen collaboration across various fields. 


 Visits like these play an important role in building understanding between friendly nations It will help the UAE and Kuwait progress their ties even more for mutual benefit.

Strengthening China UAE Ties through Joint Cooperation on the Belt and Road Initiative

China and the United Arab Emirates want to strengthen their cooperation on China's Belt and Road Initiative BRI. The BRI aims to improve connectivity and cooperation between Eurasian countries. Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan recently met with UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in Dubai. They discussed ways for China and the UAE to jointly promote the BRI.  Both countries see opportunities to collaborate on infrastructure projects related to transport, ports and trade under the BRI. As a major trade and business hub, the UAE can help connect China to other parts of Asia, Africa and Europe.
