The UAE has many excellent places to see various types of art. This week offers chances to view old Islamic works or pieces by Gulf artists.

One is the Green Art Gallery in Dubai hosting an exhibition called "Bound". It explores our relationship with fabrics as they become worn over time. Visitors can think about the connections between people and clothing materials.

Elsewhere, the Louvre Abu Dhabi shares artistic traditions from the Islamic world. Precious objects from cultures like India will be on show, along with decorative gold and colorful pottery. It presents beauty from the region's history.

The profiles more than 20 creative people from the Gulf active in recent years. Mediums like painting, sculpture, photography and more are represented by talented individuals.

Museums and galleries help discover art from different eras and communities within the UAE and Middle East. It deepens understanding of local heritage besides simply being enjoyable.

Spending free time exploring public art locations is a nice family activity that fosters appreciation for skill and beauty. The government supports sharing culture in this way.

Events continuously invite exploration of aesthetics from the past and present within the Emirates. Residents have many inspiring options to engage with their cultural surroundings.
