UAE's Humanitarian Efforts Appreciated in Gaza

A WHO delegation recently visited the UAE field hospital in Rafah Gaza They were briefed about the hospital ongoing support to strengthen Gaza healthcare sector As part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 the 60 bed facility provides emergency aid and medical care to the injured During the visit hospital staff highlighted the advanced equipment and resources deployed by the UAE. This includes supplies wheelchairs crutches and one tonne of medical items to fulfill shortages. 


The WHO praised the UAE significant contributions to alleviating Palestinian suffering Discussions focused on continuously evacuating and treating patients Strategies were discussed to ensure coordination between the hospital and WHO This will aid the delivery of ongoing medical assistance Plans were also made to bolster Gaza pediatric cancer care The UAE aims to support patients by providing essential cancer treatment supplies.


Reviving prosthetic limb projects and sustaining post ceasefire aid were additionally discussed The delegation toured facility areas and emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts The UAE hospital has played a key role in addressing Gaza healthcare crises It has filled urgent needs through overseas medical missions. 


Going forward strategies will focus on developing the sector long term This includes supporting the prosthetics program and cancer care. Sustainable assistance will require supplies to reach patients without disruption Continuous coordination between UAE experts and WHO will also be important. Strengthening China UAE Ties through Joint Cooperation on the Belt and Road Initiative

China and the United Arab Emirates want to strengthen their cooperation on China's Belt and Road Initiative BRI. The BRI aims to improve connectivity and cooperation between Eurasian countries.
