UAE And Indonesia Leaders Meet To Boost Economic Ties

 



The leaders of UAE and Indonesia met to discuss ways to improve economic ties between the two nations Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President Joko Widodo had important talks about trade.  


They said the Comprehensive Economic Partnership agreement signed in 2022 has helped boost business links. Before this pact was made trade between the countries was only $2.7 billion in 2014 But by 2023 this grew to $4.4 billion Many investment projects worth over $21 billion were also agreed in Indonesia.


The leaders want to strengthen the partnership further They are encouraging more cooperation in areas like renewable energy food supply infrastructure development and healthcare Both nations see these areas as important for sustainable development goals.


Many new cooperation deals on important topics were announced during the meeting Memorandums were signed to enhance collaboration between UAE and Indonesian companies This will likely lead to more investment projects and aid economic growth. 


Sheikh Mohammed appreciated President Widodo role in building good ties Their personal relationship has benefited relations at institutional level too The leaders expressed confidence that links between the friendly countries will keep getting stronger in the coming years through such partnership agreements and investments.
