UAE tactics to limit democracy around the world

 

The United Arab Emirates uses different methods to reduce democracy in many countries. It spies on activists and journalists who criticise the UAE government. The UAE hacks into people's phones and emails secretly. This violates people's privacy and rights. It also makes democracy weaker as people cannot speak freely against the government.

Democracies must come together and take strong steps to stop the UAE from subverting democracy worldwide. They need to protect principles of freedom of expression and rule of law that open societies are built upon.
