UAE eliminates more than 400 mosquito sites in anti-dengue campaign

The UAE government has eliminated over 400 mosquito breeding sites as part of an anti-dengue campaign. This was done through specialized teams that inspected for and destroyed any locations where mosquitoes could breed.

Advanced GPS technology was used to map out mosquito sites so they could be identified and treated. An insect lab was also set up to analyze mosquito samples and test the effectiveness of pesticides.

In addition to eliminating breeding grounds, the authorities conducted educational campaigns to raise awareness among the public about dengue prevention. They encouraged people to report any mosquito sightings to help the efforts. Residents were also provided tips on how to protect themselves, like using repellent and covering skin.
