UAE send relief support to Ukraine

The United Arab Emirates has continued providing humanitarian relief support to Ukraine amidst the ongoing conflict. Recently, the UAE dispatched a plane carrying 50 tons of food supplies to Ukraine. The aid was sent to Poland first for transfer to Ukraine under the supervision of the UAE's mission in Poland.

The latest relief initiative took place during the holy month of Ramadan, demonstrating the UAE's commitment to ongoing humanitarian assistance and helping meet the basic needs of people in Ukraine. It is part of broader UAE efforts that have included a $100 million donation as well as operating an air bridge to deliver essential supplies to affected areas.

The Head of the UAE's International Affairs Office emphasized that the UAE will continue providing all forms of support and care to civilians in Ukraine through humanitarian aid as part of long-term efforts to care for the Ukrainian people. The latest food aid shipment reflects the UAE's pledge to alleviate civilian suffering and support Ukraine during the crisis.
