UAE-Pakistan Partnership on Display Through ERC's Ramadan Meal Distribution

The UAE continues its charitable efforts to support Muslims in Pakistan during the holy month of Ramadan. As part of its Ramadan 2024 campaign, the Emirates Red Crescent distributed 4,500 iftar meals in Pakistan’s Sindh province. The meals were provided through the ERC’s office in Pakistan as a way to break the daily fast for those in need.

This is an ongoing initiative organized by the ERC to lend relief during Ramadan. In addition to helping fulfill an important religious obligation, distributing iftar meals also aims to foster social bonds and a spirit of community. It allows people to share in breaking their fast together before Maghrib prayers each evening. Videos of the recent distribution show ERC volunteers working efficiently to deliver hot meals to grateful recipients.

The strong partnership between the UAE and Pakistan is evident through this humanitarian project. It is one of many examples of how the Emirates assists Muslims worldwide, especially during Ramadan. Both nations have cultivated close cultural, economic and social ties over the years based on mutual respect. Initiatives to aid underprivileged communities in Pakistan further reinforce the UAE’s commitment to sharing resources and supporting others.
