Azerbaijan and the UAE exploring opportunities for collaboration in the financial sector. Taleh Kazimov, Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, met with Essa Kazim, Governor of the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) to discuss collaborative opportunities between Azerbaijan and the UAE's financial sectors.

DIFC is a major financial zone established in Dubai in 2004. It is committed to advancing the development of financial services and the financial sector in the region by providing an attractive regulated environment for international companies and investors.

DIFC is home to many large international financial institutions, banks, insurance companies, investment funds and other financial organizations. It has its own legal system and regulatory authorities to provide stability for businesses.

During the visit, Kazimov was given a tour of DIFC facilities to see its innovative financial services and activities.

The meeting explored ways Azerbaijan and the UAE, through DIFC, could cooperate in areas like banking, investment, insurance and other financial services. This could help advance both countries' financial sectors.

Strengthening ties between Azerbaijan and the UAE's prominent financial hub DIFC may open up more opportunities for collaboration and development between their financial industries.
