Simplify E/M documentation and coding in your private practice

Often called the “language of medicine,” the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) code set is always evolving, and one reason for that evolution is to lower the administrative burden for physicians and their practices. Describes the most recent billing and coding documentation guidelines. Advises on how to implement workflow solutions for more efficient documentation. Provides examples of documentation to help educate physicians and their teams.

Introducing Code Llama, an AI Tool for Coding

Today, we’re releasing Code Llama, a large language model (LLM) that can use text prompts to generate and discuss code. Code Llama is state-of-the-art for publicly available LLMs on coding tasks. It has the potential to make workflows faster and more efficient for developers and lower the barrier to entry for people who are learning to code. Code Llama has the potential to be used as a productivity and educational tool to help programmers write more robust, well-documented software. We believe an open approach to AI is best for developing new AI tools that are innovative, safe and responsible, so we’re releasing Code Llama for both research and commercial use under the same community license as Llama 2. Code Llama is a code-specialized version of Llama 2 that was created by further training Llama 2 on its code-specific datasets, sampling more data from that same dataset for longer. Essentially, Code Llama features enhanced coding capabilities. It can generate code and natural lang...

No-Code Revolution: How Regular Users Are Becoming App Creators Without Coding Skills

Image
The pace of digitalisation has accelerated in the past few years, thanks to the emergence of new-age technologies. Existing and emerging businesses have been climbing on the digital transformation bandwagon in a bid to get a competitive advantage, reach new customers and significantly improve business processes. In this regard, app development has gained significant ground in the nation owing to a substantial surge in the number of smartphone users. According to a report by Statista, India has more than one billion smartphone users in 2023.  In a bid to tap this huge market, emerging entrepreneurs have been seeking effective ways to build applications quickly. However, this requires massive costs, extensive coding experience as well as sufficient time. These challenges have now been addressed by the no-code platforms that allow users to create apps for their needs without any special requirement of coding skills. As a result, they are gaining huge popularity among businesses...

What Is The Difference Between Coding And Programming

Image
When it comes to the world of technology and software development, two terms that are often used interchangeably are “coding” and “programming.” While they both involve writing instructions for computers to follow, there are significant differences between the two. Understanding the distinction can help aspiring developers choose the right path and clarify misconceptions. Coding refers to the process of translating human instructions into a language that computers can understand. It involves writing lines of code using specific programming languages such as HTML, CSS, or JavaScript. Coders focus on creating the structure, layout, and design of a website or application, ensuring that it functions as intended. They mainly work on the frontend, dealing with the visual elements and user interface. Programming, on the other hand, encompasses a broader scope. It involves not only writing code but also developing algorithms, analyzing problems, and designing solutions. Programmers use c...

Back to Basics: Pseudo-Coding

Image
Every step in this process has built on knowing what the plan is for your code. But we have one final planning step that will help ensure you know exactly where you’re going when you do start writing code before it’s time to get into the trenches of writing code: pseudo-coding Welcome to Back to Basics, a series where we’re going to be reviewing basic engineering concepts that may require a more complex explanation than a quick Google search could provide. Outline Comes Before Draft — Always Pseudocode is a way to design code without worrying about syntax. It looks like code, but it doesn’t actually run. Think of it this way: before writing an essay, you create an outline as a map to help you get from one idea to another so that you can follow that map when it’s time to actually start writing the paper. The goal when pseudo-coding is to look at the project from a bird’s eye view, and then get more granular. To do this, we go through multiple layers of detail. File/Class Structure...

Meta Will End Facebook News Service in Europe’s Biggest Markets

Image
Meta Platforms Inc. plans to stop promoting news content for people in three major European countries, the latest sign that the social network giant is trying to leave the industry behind. The company will “deprecate” the news tab — a Facebook feature to prominently display news material — for users in the UK, Germany and France. “We know that people don’t come to Facebook for news and political content – they come to connect with people and discover new opportunities, passions and interests”

Mastering Swift: The Language of Choice for iPhone App Development

Image
In the ever-evolving landscape of mobile application development, selecting the right programming language plays a pivotal role in the success of an app. With the dominance of the iOS platform, developers are presented with a range of programming languages to choose from for iPhone app development. Among these, Swift has emerged as the language of choice, offering a myriad of benefits that have solidified its position as a staple in the iOS development community. The Landscape of iPhone App Development Languages When it comes to iPhone app development, the choice of programming language is crucial as it directly impacts the efficiency, performance, and scalability of the application. Over the years, multiple programming languages have been utilized for iOS app development, including Objective-C, Swift, and even cross-platform options like React Native. However, Swift has risen to prominence due to its modern features and seamless integration with the iOS ecosystem.

UAE welcomes preservation of UNIFIL’s independence in UN Security Council vote

Image
Ambassador Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, the UAE's permanent representative to the UN in New York, today praised the UN Security Council for extending the UN Interim Force in Lebanon's (UNIFIL) mandate, which included a number of significant UAE recommendations. In a statement defending the UAE's vote in favour of resolution 2695, Ambassador Nusseibeh emphasised that improving the UN Security Council's support for UNIFIL's efforts to uphold peace and stability in South Lebanon and the surrounding area was the UAE's top priority during the discussions that led to today's adoption. The UAE proposed language that emphasised UNIFIL's independence and emphasised the Government of Lebanon's duty to make it possible for the Force to have unrestricted access to "all locations of interest" in its operational area. The UAE also succeeded in keeping the emphasis from last year on unlimited "announced and unannounced patrols" by UN soldiers and inclu...
