  Abu Dhabi A second hackathon with the theme "Cyber Warriors: Unleashing the Power of Bug Bounties in Cybersecurity" was organised by BEACON RED, an advanced cyber solutions provider that addresses complex national security challenges, and Abu Dhabi, an innovative and disruptive coding school. The hackathon's focus was on Bug Bounty initiatives, which have significantly impacted all facets of the economy and have attracted more than 60 students from 42 Abu Dhabi schools.

  A group of bright young minds from a school in Kollam have developed their own artificial intelligence (AI) powered tool inspired by the AI cameras installed by the motor vehicles department. While the cameras installed by the motor vehicles department are designed to detect traffic violations, the device created by class IX students of Brook International School focuses on ensuring students’ adherence to proper school uniforms. Dubbed as the “uniform detection machine,” the device can spot even the smallest dress code violations, such as missing ties or different shoes. Once a violation is detected, the machine captures the necessary information and sends it to the principal’s mobile number. Developed within three weeks by Hanoch M Biju and four of his classmates, the AI device consists of six key components: a camera, teachable machine software, scratch programming software, an Arduino Uno microcontroller board, a GSM module, and a SIM card.

  As a software developer, I often find myself immersed in coding projects even during my free time. Recently, my daughter, who is only 8 years old, displayed a keen interest in coding and spent her summer vacation building her own game in Roblox. As a proud parent, I wanted to support her enthusiasm and help her learn coding without any roadblocks. However, since I’m not familiar with Roblox’s syntax, I introduced her to ChatGPT, and it has been a game-changer! Previously, like most beginners, she would rely on Google searches and ask me for help whenever she encountered issues with her game. But now, with ChatGPT, she can simply ask it to generate the necessary code, and it actually works! Even if it doesn’t work perfectly on the first try, she can ask ChatGPT to identify the issues in her code, and it provides helpful corrections. This level of assistance is truly mind-blowing!

  This year, pilgrims will be able to travel from Sindh to Iran in buses and their own vehicles because to an agreement between the Chief Minister of Sindh and the Iranian Consulate General. Hassan Nourian, the Iranian Consul General, led a group of four people that met with Syed Murad Ali Shah, the Chief Minister of Sindh. These cars would go from Karachi to Chabahar via the Chabahar bypass road, according to the spokesperson for the chief minister of Sindh. The Chief Minister gave the Transport Department instructions to create a road plan. He said that going from Sindh to Iran will boost tourism between the two countries and that he would ask the foreign minister to start negotiations to open the route from Karachi to Chabahar.

  The Government of Odisha has initiated coding and Information Technology (IT) curriculum for government and government-aided high school students via schools clubs called, Koushali, stated a report in The New Indian Express.  Starting July 13, Thursday, a training programme for master trainers was held and this is going to be a three day-long affair. This programme is being held at three high schools in Bhubaneswar. The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office advised British citizens to avoid all political demonstrations, large crowds of people and public events.
